Although these are described as their \"slim\" cut, we would say that due to the fatigue pants style, these do have a roomier and fuller feel throughout compared to traditional slim cuts. We would generally equate the size 3 here with a size 32-34 in denim sizes; size 2 here with size 30-32; etc. Because of that, you will definitely be able to fit into a couple sizes depending on how you want them to fit. The adjustable tab will generally allow you to tighten the waist by up to 1\" (when laid flat), or 2\" in overall circumference. The fabric does stretch a little over time by 0.5\" when laid flat, so you can try to take that into account if you'd like, or just use the button tabs to tighten up as needed.
